Cypress College Photo Expo

Today was an inspirational day for me. I am so happy I joined the Facebook fan page for “LA Shoot This” a couple weeks ago or else I would not have known about this event. I was pretty excited to check out the lecture by local wedding photography Jasmine Star because I’ve heard some many great things about her and have seen her work as well.  I had no idea that meeting her today was gonna be so inspirational to me! I have to describe her as the Hispanic version of me!  I’ve never meet anyone who can talk as fast if not faster than I do! When she said she’s type A and OCD I was like no way! That’s so me too! Her lecture really emphasizes on how important it is to be ‘YOU”. She was so down to earth and was totally herself! When I was watching her talk I was like wow is that how fast I talk and is that how people see me? It was so refreshing to see someone as successful as she is and she didn’t have to pretend to be all proper and professional. My motto has always been “Be true to yourself and everything will fall into place”. Meeting her today really reminded me of that quote I said to myself almost 10 years ago. She is now my idol and I thank her for being herself .  I am now a Jasmine Star fanatic!!!
